Although i cant kneel by my bed with my dad, i still say my nightly prayers. And frankly post them in a blog so he can read them when he has time.
A dear friend of mine said a prayer for me in my time of struggle, and it is one i would like him to read as well.
LORD FATHER GOD I KNOW YOU ARE WORKING YOUR WILL FOR ME IN MY LIFE and you are doing so in your own time. Thank you for granting me the peace of mind to handle daily struggles with ease. You have given me the strength to overcome every obstacle in my tragic life and i know they are each planned. I ask you give others the ability to see me as you see me, as well as i see myself. Please share your mercy and grace with those around me that i might be more comfortable. Bless those who are in need and in doubt. Amen.
LORD FATHER GOD YOU KNOW THE PLANS YOU HAVE FOR ME AND I TRUST YOU There are days i go when i feel i go with out the demons that haunt me. The demons of lieing, complaining, anger, envy, drinking, lust. But on these days i need to ask of god to rebuke me of these sins. And tonight i am lifting up the ones that i have recently committed. Lust, Drinking, Envy. Thank you for the lessons you have taught me throug them, but please lord, take these from me and replace them with peace and knowledge. Today and every day i surrender myself to you and ask that you fufill your will for me in my day to day life. I love you jesus. Amen.
